  • i think it is possible, i started talking to a friend of a friend on the internet, got together the week after we first met and have been together for a year and two months ^_^ and i’m in no doubt at all that i love him with the entire capacity of my heart, so it’s very possible indeed.

I had the same feeling year ago but that ends quickly than i thought 🙂

but i think it depends on the person, not that you met them over the internet. long-distance relationships are probably different, but if the person lives close then i don’t see how the internet makes a difference. you either get along or you don’t.

and i don’t want to sound naive, but i have more faith in my relationship than that. we met well over a year ago and when i see him every weekend, it still feels like we met yesterday.

keeps things fresh, i’m not saying being with each other all the time is a bad thing, just having a few days apart keep the relationship stronger. think that made sense……

definitely 🙂 if we spend more than a week together, i go crazy but then i leave and i miss him already the day after. i’ve tried to be spontaneous recently .

Nice story.. that is the feeling that needs to us all 🙂

oh totally. it’s the new nightclub and it’s becoming more acceptable. I’m all for it.

i’ve met loads of people online but obviously you’re not gonna like them all. i met one of my old bfs online and we still chat today even though not together, but we loved each other at the time.

you can find people online and figure out if you might get on but id find it difficult if you could not actually meet them

Of course you can find love on the Internet ! You can find love anywhere if you look hard enough. What the Internet has done is give us the chance to deal with an communicate with a much larger circle of people. Both in our own countries and across the world. Something that would have not been possible for most ordinary people, before the advent of the Internet . 😉

Its great that you can total scan a person and know the main things about them from the internet. If you dont like what you read, you move on! No wasting time. Then you can talk on the phone, then again scan them out if not interested. Then meet in a public place, then again scan them out…. Eventually you will find one that is good! There are MANY people on the internet just like you looking for dates. Ive met many people over the internet!

I believe it is. I used to go out with someone for 9 years and thought I loved that person. After breaking up with them I went online as a joke/dare from one of my friends to just “look around”. I started talking to someone after sifting through all the anatomy lessons and one night stand requests and we are now living together and madly in love.

the love on the internet is second name of flirt

of course you can fin your half on the internet, with the live cheat and video it’s not hard to find you love:X

This is an interesting question that has two sides to it ; there is the ‘relationship’ where a lot of b***shit is said on line to paint yourself. And then as seen with some examples mentioned above, that after the ‘internet’ meet you do have to see the person physically which all in all is what a true relationship is all about : knowing who you are and actually sharing true moments unlike the easyiness that is to paint yourself into something that you are not which I am sure so many ppl do.
That is why for me that however much the lure of ‘easy’ relationships is so readily available out there I am sure that there were so many actual meet ups that fizzled out and failed at first sight. That’s why i stick to my belief that i will meet someone in flesh from the get go and that evreything will roll out from then on.
