Definately, and because at the end of the day at first its just a voice on the phone or text on a screen in some ways its easier to be yourself and be completely honest as at the end of the day if you dont get responses that suggest the other person is of a likemind or willing to accept what your saying then you can just cut the contact at any point without any real loss as no real world contact has been made yet – that gives you the freedom to be truthful from the start without really worrying too much what the other person thinks in a sense.

If both parties are doing that and being 100% honest about themselves then for me thats a really good place to start the relationship from.

I think that you can’t tell who you are going to meet but then I suppose that’s the case in “reality” or whatevers the opposite of the internet…you get your fair share of wankers, creeps, perverts and the occasional good one.

I think it’s harder to find love over the internet because when I talk to people it doesnt feel real…msn conversation are just like talking to a box! But I have however connected with people I have met breifly in real life on the internet and although you do get to know people for their personality rather than their looks when you read something you might take it differently than how they mean it because you can’t hear the emotion or facial expression. I suppose it’s hard getting to know somebody when they aren’t physically there especially since it goes against the things that scientifically attract us to each other…i think it’s possible to like somebody alot and perhaps think your in love with somebody over the internet but I think it does take people to meet eventually to make it real and turn into a serious long term relationship.
