PARTY VIBE SEEMS TO HAVE HIBERNATE THIS SUMMER, WHERE THE HELL ARE THE couple Trypta – Angel (aka Requiem-mrs Rob) THAT I LIKED SO MUCH IN 2014-2015, also Members and Mod LIKE Epiiculz , Psyentist , Isocortex , GULFYxxxxx (HARD NAME), AND A LOT OTHER which were so more involved ?????
THERE WERE MORE PEOPLE IN A PARTY Spirit mood before, what can be done to change that.???? or am ik the lonely one feeling that???
Its just you, me and GL nowadays.
A big factor is the UK law made all these strong drugs you could quite literally buy through the post illegal in June; and there has been such a backlash from the hedonistic culture of the 2000s that folk here (and in other countries as well) have elected rightwing governments that make every bit of fun restricted or illegal.
Added to which even in the “good days” A lot of people wanted to get away from doing excessive drugs so moved away from this site.
There were also a lot of young adults here who were at University so were forced to grow up so they could pass their exams etc, and when you apply for jobs now there is monitoring of your social network activity which causes people to stay away from sites like this.
Other folk on here got good tech jobs for companies / countries where those in charge less liberal views and they were older and had families so couldn’t afford to risk their careers.
I also suspect that the economic depression and age filters on broadband connections are making it less easy for young people to get to this site.
Many have to live with their parents still; it is awkward to ask mum and dad “please turn off the porno filter so I can look at a site about drugs…” even if they have the code to do this its likely to be linked to their parents email address and quite possible an audit email is sent when the setting are changed.
If you use a PAYG mobile phone in UK it is sometimes blocked unless the account is registered as “over 18 content permitted”.
Gaz (even I can’t spell his current screen name; he tends to swap and combine languages in each version) does pop in from time to time though..

gl, dont say because a RC Ban and BREXIT, A FORUM GOES a Bit slower THAN BEFORE. DO U HAVE A GRAPHICS OF THE NUMER OF POSTS , VSIT , … PER DAY SINCE 2006???
Shakyamuni is the name of the Buddha (if he was actually real…), it was a bad decision to change it but I can’t change it back. If you have any suggestions for a username that is easier for you to remember I”ll change it.
Only Dr B can get those kinds of stats (anyone who ran that level of database query must be careful not to make a mistake that could take up too much CPU time and make the entire forum to run slow – there is a lot of data).
I’ve been around here for a while and can tell you from memory the peaks and troughs of activity.
From 2002-2006 this forum was very active because we could openly chat about many raves that had occured in London, SE and Eastern England and some bits of Europe. At one point we could even post roughly where the unlicensed ones might be happening and cops never gave us any trouble. It was only around 2005/2006 that cops started investigating sites (we had them post on here on a couple of occasions warning people against putting on unlicensed events).
From 2006-2009 the focus shifted slightly towards events in the East of England, in part because I had moved there from SE England and knew some promoters; also Biotech who was one of the other mods (but is now a proud parent so doesn’t have as much time for forums and music) lives round here but 60km away nearer the sea. In those days there were no such thing as buying RCs though the post, drugs were easy to get from your circle of real life friends. But people overdid the drugs leading to various Police clampdowns and international raids.
From 2009 until 2016 the chat on here revolved more and more around the NPS / RC like mephedrone and others. The same happened on most other alternative lifestyle forums; and the communities shifted from groups of younger people who often knew each other in real life to a more diverse group of folk of all ages spread all over the world, many of whom experimented with NPS and then posted the results to forums like this (as well as Bluelight, UKCR, drug-forums etc).
A large core of regular posters in recent years are/were from the UK, so changes in laws obviously affect their posting patterns.

Smokemary and her partner got busted for weed; the discharge / conditional discharge means that as long as they do not get into any more trouble within 2 years they will not get any further penalties but if they are caught again within that time they could get a big fine or even jail time.
That was only my charge, his case went to a different court he got a £250/300 fine and the case left at that. I’ve another year of being safe to do haha

thanks for clarification; TBH I wasn’t sure whether it was just one or both penalties combined and how someone could end up with a fine and a conditional discharge (it would be against human rights guidelines anywhere else in Europe) but thought it was because of different laws in other bits of the UK…

is actually the ban of RC in all Europa?
@iliesse 985926 wrote:

there is an EU monitoring centre suggesting the RCs are controlled but domestic laws still apply. there are however increasing reports about shipments being seized in IT, NL and DE..
@iliesse 985926 wrote:

The ban only applies to the sale of any items in the UK only and don’t affect anywhere else at all. It’s still totally legal to possess and use every compound that was not banned before the so called ban.
