I ride an e-bike as its safer in my country than a slower push bike but TBH I don’t think any of my insides are even fit for dog food and I did indeed smoke even more cigarettes in the past (as they were cheaper).

I stopped from 2009 until end of last year, but after my mum (who rarely smoked and stopped altogether when pregnant with my sister in 1980) passed away from similar medical conditions to my Dad ended up starting again – my grandparents on both sides also are or were plagued with various nasty illnesses (which is why the Chinese and Japanese are investing so much in this research).

I did even wonder if it would be possible to scatter my ashes in the North Sea at the border point between all the Northern European nations but it would be against EU rules (over the years the rest of Europe has had plenty enough of British people dumping their trash into the sea as it is…)

very similar to my mums side of the family in Malaysia (although they were originally from South India) – in spite of all the menfolk being notorious smokers it was alcohol that finished off grandad (before I was born) and two of my uncles. I am not sure about how many relatives I have on my fathers side or their health (he also got disowned by his family for marrying through “Western dating” and across ethnic boundaries) – to find out I would have to learn an especially difficult dialect of Chinese (even Dad didn’t speak it and was taught in English duringi high school, sixth form and teacher training college).

Although in reasonable health for my age at this time; with my families medical history (various nasties such as diabetes and heart problems) and other stuff I can’t even spell but I see it on the databases at work on all the seniors medical notes I doubt TBH I am going to last that much longer than illiesse.

This month I have lived in Ipswich for 10 years – maybe I get 10 years more before bits start going wrong with me and/or cigarettes and asbest take their toll; at which point (before I get mobility problems) I am seriously considering retiring, selling off the contents of my house; leaving this in my will to my sister and brother in law and anything left over to a number of animal rescue centres and nature reserves in UK and NL -probably a combination of Franciscan animal shelters and the Buddhist gooseparadijs in Groningen (where I will purchase 2 pairs of geese that would have got eaten to be instead let loose into the sanctuary)

And if I last out that long I plan going on a pilgrimage via Utrecht and Limburg into Deutschland (Köln, Duisburg etc) thento Österreich and Schweiz – although if well enough I might try and get some work at Caritas (Catholic charity that helps out the refugees).

As even I go down with some particular nasty and end up handing myself in to be put down it seems you only get a few extra years in Purgatory which actually does appear to be more fun than Heaven at least until you are well into middle age (the dreams I had of my parents in Heaven actually match up with teachings of Saint Don Bosco and Mother Angelica; and other descriptions of Heaven even in other religions – it is just like a load of retirement homes for the middle aged in a mountainous area like a combination of AT, CH and IT.)
