Yeah it really fucks a growing brain, we can’t stop kids though they wont really listen to our know from experience 🙁

what i don’t understand about this is, did you take psys and fuck your brain up cos that’s the only way you’d really know? ;P

and then.. you’d be telling someone to take advice from a crazy fucked up person 😀

So LSD, Mushies, or a psychedelic incredibly similar to mushies (4-aco-dmt) will damage my growing brain.
But a couple beers or some bud is fine.
Look at the chart, alcohol and weed are WAY higher up there than LSD or shrooms

The people who made the chart are assuming that use is among adults. Anything that potentially interferes with the brains development by stimulating plasticity in an un-natural way could potentially cause some problems. This doesn’t necessarily put you in any danger of “harm” per se, but cause potentially be a trigger for causing cognitive difficulties, or even personality disorders.

Playing Devil’s advocate, I will add that I did psychedelics (not that many mind) when I was in my teens and apart from having a super-ego and being a sociopath I am totally normal (although I did have sever Post Hallucinogenic Perception Disorder for a few years in my 20s).

The main thing is to try to minimise potential harm as much as possible if you are going to take these substances. Choose an environment where you feel safe and secure and where you will not be disturbed and try to have a sitter who is sober to monitor the situation and who can step in if anything goes wrong.

But according to freudian psychology, everyone has a super-ego! Unless you mean your ego is really really big and you’re very selfish.

Sorry, make that hyper-ego (it’s very early for me). Only people who are truly awesome have it! 😉

much of the ‘similar’-ities regarding the effects of analogues are still theorized. also, i also don’t think that chart takes into account the risk of your vendors legitimacy, and organisation skills.

    this guy is jokes man.

how do u think it compares to the legitimacy and organisation skills of a weed dealer?

hahaaa yeah im sure its easy to get a 10 bag of bud mixed up with bromo-dragonfly (happens), aMT(?) (happens), MDPV (happens), or class b illegals (happens). i’m always reading about dodgy weed getting sent out actually now you mention it

these online vendors/research chems seem must more trustworthy and safer than my local stoners 10 pound bags

yeah some weed dealers put pcp on the weed. generally though you’d have to be a fucking idiot to sell someone bromo or something seeing as it’s worth way more and not the kind of thing you’d leave laying around asking to be accident.

you can’t just say that because some guys flew planes into buildings on september 11th that it happens and is a good argument for intense airport security n shit just cos the very very VERY odd time.. something bad happens.

so yeah i’ve heard of weed fucking loads of people up with pcp… so sadly your vendor argument for weed fails tbh.

To be honest i can see where everyone who says that psychs CAN (not WILL) affect your brain development.
However, i think that if you do it with extreme moderation you will be fine – the worst thing that i could imagine happening after doing it as a one off say, would be tripping the fuck out, getting paranoid/anxious and being left with anxiety problems for the rest of your life, or developing a mental health issue because of the stress you’ve put your brain through.
Personally i only smoked weed from 12-15, didn’t even drink to be honest. Then i started on stims which i feel did a LOT more damage compared to the mushie trips of this october. In fact they just healed me, and now i’m completely in love with them.
Just be careful, and i won’t encourage you to do it, but i know i didn’t give a fuck when i was your age (although i’m only a year or 2 older.. in retrospect i see what people mean when they say people feel invincible at that age)

Everything you do/see/consume effects your brain development, all your experiences, your upbringing, social interaction, education, the cleanliness of the air you breath and the quality of the food you eat…… and yes of course any drugs ( legal or illegal ), it all contributes to making you who your are

Exactly. Imo i’d rather take weed from the ages of 12-16 then ritalin or some other bullshit legal amphetamine prescribed for a disease which imo doesn’t exist.

It’s funny how speedheads are looked down upon yet when its prescribed to a 10 year old (against their consent) its perfectly normal and acceptable..
