people rape my threads off topic into fights and shit all the time, what’s the difference. in fact i don’t remember a thread i made when it didn’t go off onto some football bullshit and i didn’t complain. as long as they enjoy posting then i’m happy.

Ooops, I’m probably responsible for a lot of the off-topic football chat. Sorry man, can’t help it, it’s a very big part of my life. There does seem to be a lot of tension around at the moment though, I think we all need to get together and share a massive valium around everyone!

To be fair though a lot of threads that are derailed would just die without going off topic anyway and a lot of things that are talked about don’t warrant their own thread. Personally I wouldn’t care if my threads were derailed but I guess it’s up to the OP.

Not just you seeing it like that mate, there seems to be a couple of people on here at the mo just trying to be argumentative. I reckon GL should replace all their posts with various goose-related pictures!

And on the thread hijacking, that’s generally what happens with conversations, they move on from their original point and end up being about something totally different. How many times have any of us been out with pals and only had one topic of conversation running right through the night? I don’t think it’s ever happened to me, I’m guessing most folk are in that boat too.
