Difference between smoking and eating weed? I've only smoked marijuana, I've never eaten it in like brownies or whatever. What's the difference between smoking and eating? Is there a difference and which one is stronger?12

About a mate I have a friend who has done brown 4 or 5 times in the past but claims to have no interest. I used to believe this, but my friend told me he is tempted to buy it again, it's availably is mad round here so I'm worried my friend will lose strength and will power and buy that shit, so what the fuck am i supposed to do?

Heroin Revisited Thread So last year I made a pretty controversial thread on Heroin where I got a lot of people telling me not to do it. Now I don't think this was bad advice but I do think it's bad that people seem to have this big issue with Heroin yet I can honestly say Cannabis, Mephedrone (brief time, got out quick due to depression which I've never suffered which lasted 4-5 weeks, never suffered it since) and Ketamine (ESPECIALLY) were much darker and more evil substances to my mind. If people are saying a straight DO NOT TAKE HEROIN no other information than it'll fuck you up or whatever then they should say the same for Ketamine and the rest IMO.
Ketamine ravages your body and mind worse than Heroin IMO. I know some people get fully addicted to Opiates and things go wrong and then you really have fucked it but I was aware of this and never let it get to that. Also stimulants seem to turn people into much nastier evil aggressive people IMO, I've seen and am seeing a lot of people falling into a deep spiral and mental health issues of chronic Mephedrone abuse in my town due to the place being flooded with the shit... I sort of feel bad as one of the biggest dealers I know (guy who had a heart attack, I made a thread about and who continues to take it and isn't the same guy I knew 7 years ago) I gave it to him for the first time when it was legal.. (He isn't my friend anymore due to being a psycho and I do not want to be associated with his fucked up lifestyle). Going back to stims vs opiates I find opiates generally tend to make the chronic addicts thieves and liars rather than aggressive angry people..
If you do make it out of any of the addictions and get clean at least your body isn't ruined on Opiates (not saying it can't be as some people use in stupid filthy ways) as like stimulants and ketamine.
Right now I have no desire to take the stuff and haven't for quite some time. Would I ever take it again? Not really fussed, don't like being around the stuff because it just tells your mind to do it and the stuff makes me lazy and unproductive.
Worst thing about Opiates over other drugs though are you really cannot push them in combinations with other depressants or you will die from being unable to breathe.
I was taking it regularly for 1.5 years by the way... Spent 4 weeks completely mashed on it before and was able to go through withdrawals pretty easily without feeling a bit shit for 3-4 days (note as well I could walk 5 mins round the corner and buy a ten bag any hour of the day). Just have to know not to fall completely reliant on this shit and be very careful if you ever drink Alcohol or take other potent downers with it. Another thing is the high can be very deceiving in this OD sense, sometimes you get this super nice head feeling where you get high and feel nicer and nicer, other times you don't get that so you keep dosing and then you end up feeling sick for 6-8 hours! These times where you are not getting the feeling are the dangerous ones as you'll overdo it.
Also if you ever do plan to take it just smoke it, snorting is better but it 100 times more dangerous if you aren't being careful.
Anyway here's to a Smack free lifestyle, it wasn't that bad and I do not feel damaged unlike how cannabis and ketamine have made me feel through those phases.
I've pretty much tried all the classes of drugs there are to try and am overly experienced in them all so now I would prefer to pass on knowledge from my experiences to help people and have no real desire to pursue any other drugs to any unhealthy or frequent use at all. I believe a good healthy psychedelic once or twice a year is definitely beneficial for the brain.

UK : How we sent "text messages" to pirate stations in the early 1990s reposted from .com (BTW this is also a demo of Kali Linux controlling an RTL-USB radio receiver dongle)
We didn't have GSM mobiles until mid/late 1990s' mobile phones were analogue, way expensive to own and had the great disadvantage that anyone nearby with a radio scanner could listen in to your phone calls.
Using one in a pirate radio studio was also dodgy as it could give away the location of the studio (mobile networks have always logged the device location; the system would not work otherwise), any audio recording would have the studio music in the background and it could pick up interference from the "band I transmitter". This is a lower power transmitter operating on the old VHF TV frequencies which (unused in the UK for TV since 1985) which sent the studio audio to a receiver and the main "Band II (FM radio)" transmitter which was usually about 0,5 km away on a tower block or other high structure.
So instead we used these pagers - although it was a national network (still used today) on VHF frequencies rather than the small scale UHF system in the video below
The receiver would have been slightly bigger and unlikely to have a white LED; those may not have been invented then! - and it is not easy to get second hand UHF pagers from the 1990s (I suspect the Germans and Dutch have hoarded the lot ). Of course decoding the message in real time on a computer wasn't that easy in 1990 (you would have something like a service monitor which costs about €10 000) but the music is from the correct era :)
To send a message you had to make a telephone call to some call centre in London' (often on a premium rate number) and give the correct capcode (the pager ID number) and the message to the operator; who would type it in on a computer terminal for transmission to the pager network.
As the pagers operated on around 150 MHz and the Band I link was on around 50 MHz the pirates had to be careful that thie signal was not excessively strong or the antenna wrongly connected or third harmonic interference would garble the pager message....
