Psilocybin use for OCD treatment being investigated

However Dr Paul Blenkiron, a consultant in adult psychiatry at Bootham Park Hospital, York, said: "I'm concerned that the study only measured effects up to 24 hours and OCD is a chronic condition, not measurable in hours and days, but months and years.
"About 12% of people can suffer flashbacks after less than 10 exposures [to psychedelics] many years later, beyond the six months of this study, so long term effects should be carefully assessed."

Wonder whether they will be allowed to do more testing or if this will be repressed due to the drug being illegal?
How does the drug testing system work in nightclubs? Hey, I have a question regarding the drug testing system they use when entering nightclubs. I've been told they take a swab on your hands that tests to see if you've come into contact with drugs via your hands, but another friend has said the swab actually take a sample of your sweat and will automatically tell the staff what drugs you've done.
If the system is the latter, how long would it take for ectascy to come up on the test? And does anybody know if you come up postive on the test, are you refused entry to the club, or do they just search you?
I'm asking cause I'm going to a hardcore event at a popular nightclub this friday coming, and I went to drop an E before I go in, but this nightclub in question frequently uses this drug testing kit and I'm worried I won't get in if I come up postive. Thanks a lot for your help guys!

Farmers 'force' McDonald's out
A McDonald's restaurant in a Devon town is closing because it cannot compete with local traders, say campaigners.
The company said "trading patterns" in Tavistock had changed over recent years and the site was no longer suitable.
In a statement, McDonald's said it would try to move 27 staff employed at the restaurant to branches in Plymouth.
The restaurant, which opened in 1999, will close on Saturday while Tavistock farmers' market thrives with a prestigious food award.
'Quality food'
The market was voted the best in the region by Country Life magazine and won the title Best Food Town in the South West this year.
John Taylor, Tavistock Forward and EatWise chairman, said: "It just goes to show that the food is so good here we have seen them off.
"Because of the quality of our local food, McDonald's has not been able to compete. I think there is definitely a link.
"We have made every effort to make Tavistock a haven for local food and McDonald's wasn't local food, so they suffered."
A McDonald's spokesman said: "With 1,250 restaurants across the UK, it's essential that we continue to have the right restaurants in the right places.
"Since the restaurant opened in 1999, the trading patterns of Tavistock high street have changed and as a result we have taken the difficult decision to cease trading at this site."

Santas bad day Santa's Bad Day
One particular Christmas season a long time ago, Santa was getting ready for is annual trip, but there were problems everywhere. Four of his elves got sick, and the trainee elves did not produce the toys as fast as the regular ones so Santa was beginning to feel the pressure of being behind schedule. Then Mrs. Claus told Santa that her mom was coming to visit. This stressed Santa even more.
When he went to harness the reindeer, he found that three of them were about to give birth and two had jumped the fence and were out, heaven knows where. More stress.
Then when he began to load the sleigh one of the boards cracked, and the toy bag fell to the ground and scattered the toys. So, frustrated, Santa went into the house for a cup of apple cider and a shot of rum.
When he went to the cupboard, he discovered that the elves had hidden the liquor, and there was nothing to drink. In his frustration, he accidentally dropped the cider pot, and it broke into hundreds of little pieces all over the kitchen floor. He went to get the broom and found that mice had eaten the straw end of the broom.
Just then the doorbell rang, and irritable Santa trudged to the door. He opened the door, and there was a little angel with a great Christmas tree.
The angel said, very cheerfully, "Merry Christmas, Santa. Isn't it a lovely day? I have a beautiful tree for you. Where would you like me to stick it?"
Thus began the tradition of the little angel on top of the Christmas tree.
