- UK : LDN(W) : James Bond film set is on fire! Well bond films always seem to end up with lots of explosions.. Perhaps someone, somewhere in a room full of surveillance equipment is watching the fire engines and chaois whilst stroking a white cat and laughing evilly... Pinewood Studios 'has large fire' The James Bond stage at Pinewood Studios in Buckinghamshire is ablaze, the fire bridage has said. Eight fire engines are attending. It is not known if filming was taking place there at the time. Eyewitness Jen McVean, who owns a firm at the studios at Iver Heath, said the stage was "completely on fire". Ms McVean said she saw smoke from her garden and went to the site of the studios to make sure her company was not affected. - Weekend party Appreciation Big up for saturday night link up near northampton, was heavy with a constant vibe and all round safe people (minus 1 or 2), heavy moshing and lively crowds! Good to look back at your weekend and think "yeah that was fukin phat " raaa raaa When i arrived the streets of this small village was overflowing with cars and ravers because the O.B blocked the entrance telling every1 it was shuttin down and there was notin to see. bollocks we thought, so a group of about 15-20 people had to go through the grave yard (On the blocked road), do a bit of garden hoppin, jumping barbed wire fences, jumping over walls where the other side is pitch black, helpin eachother on the way. Eventually got to the phat party after 30 mins of wet fields gettin soaked to the knees! well worth it though! Big up u if u where in that kru that went on the misson, i prbably wouldent have found it otherwise! Respect! peace out raaa 1 2

- hungry men go for bigger girls… Hunger dictates who men fancy By Michelle Roberts BBC News health reporter How full a man's stomach is can dictate the type of woman he will fancy, UK research suggests. A study of 61 male university students found those who were hungry were attracted to heavier women than those who were satiated. The hungry men also paid much less attention to a woman's body shape and regarded less curvy figures as more attractive than men with full bellies. The study appears in The British Journal of Psychology. Food lust Although it is not clear exactly how hunger exerts an influence on attraction, past research suggests social, cultural and psychological factors are involved. In some societies where food is a limited resource, such as the South Pacific, higher body weights are revered. In others where food is abundant, such as the West, lower female body weights are preferred. Your cognitive state, your drives and your interests are dependent on your underlying physiology, your blood sugar levels and your hormone levels and these depend upon hunger Co-researcher Dr Martine Tovée, from Newcastle University Evolutionary psychologists believe this is a survival preference. What you are looking for in a mate is the best chance of healthy offspring and in an environment where food is scarce, a heavier woman is deemed a safer bet for this. What can be regarded as a normal and acceptable body size is also influenced by what we see, including advertising, and can change. For example, migrants from rural to urban societies show an increasing idealisation of thinner figures. Dr Viren Swami from University College London and Dr Martine Tovée from Newcastle University believe there are biological factors at work too. Physical drives Dr Tovée explained: "Your cognitive state, your drives and your interests are dependent on your underlying physiology, your blood sugar levels and your hormone levels and these depend upon hunger." They recruited male university students as they entered or exited a campus dining hall during dinner time. They asked the men to rate how hungry they were on a scale of one to seven. Using these responses, the researchers selected 30 hungry and 31 satiated men to take part in the study. The men were then asked to rate the attractiveness of 50 women of varying weights, all within a healthy range, who had been photographed wearing tight grey leotards and leggings. The hungry men rated more of the heavier women as attractive than the men who were full up. Dr Tovée said: "This shows how physiology does impact on our perceptions and thought processes." He said the work also tied in with the resources model - in times of food scarcity, a heavier woman becomes the ideal. Eating disorders "Obviously we only saw a small shift in preference but it is a significant shift. If you were to extrapolate it onwards to people missing many meals and getting hungrier and hungrier over a longer period of time you might start to see a bigger shift." They now plan to look at how hunger impacts on female attraction to males. Dr Tovée said the findings might be completely different for women, particularly given the distorted body image perception of women with anorexia. "Research suggests women's ability to judge not only their own but also other people's body shape is linked to their own body mass. As their body mass declines they tend to overestimate body mass. So the more weight they lose, the bigger they think they are." The work could also help further our understanding of obesity, he said. "A lot of what we are doing is looking at how flexible these representations of body size and shape are and the effect of environment. If you are growing up in an environment where you are seeing heavier body types, is this what you set your norm? "We know that diet is related to social class and obesity tends to be class related too. So we are looking at how diet then impacts on your ideals and perceptions of what is a good or bad body shape." By a 410-15 vote on Thursday, politicians approved a bill that would effectively require that "chat rooms" and "social networking sites" be rendered inaccessible to minors, an age group that includes some of the Internet's most ardent users. Adults can ask for permission to access the sites. "Social networking sites such as MySpace and chat rooms have allowed sexual predators to sneak into homes and solicit kids," said Rep. Ted Poe, a Texas Republican and co-founder of the Congressional Victim's Rights Caucus. "This bill requires schools and libraries to establish (important) protections." Even though politicians apparently meant to restrict access to MySpace, the definition of off-limits Web sites is so broad the bill would probably sweep in thousands of commercial Web sites that allow people to post profiles, include personal information and allow "communication among users." Details will be left up to the Federal Communications Commission. The list could include Slashdot, which permits public profiles; Amazon, which allows author profiles and personal lists; and blogs like RedState.com that show public profiles. In addition, many media companies, such as News.com publisher CNET Networks, permit users to create profiles of favorite games and music. "While targeted at MySpace, the effects are far more wide-ranging than that, including sites like LinkedIn," said Mark Blafkin, a representative of the Association for Competitive Technology, which counts small- to medium-size technology companies as members. "Nearly any news site now permits these types of behaviors that the bill covers." House Republicans have enlisted the Deleting Online Predators Act, or DOPA, as part of a poll-driven effort to address topics that they view as important to suburban voters in advance of November's elections. A condom allows for inflation, halts production, destroys the next generation, protects a bunch of pricks, and gives you a sense of security while you're actually being screwed.
