the barman refuses and points to a sign saying NO STRING ALLOWED
a little disheartened the piece of string tries the pub over the road.
again the barman refuses telling him string is not welcome in his pub.
out of desperation the piece of string goes outside ties himself in half, roughs his ends up and goes back into the pub.
'can i have a pint please' asks the string
are you a piece of string the bar man asks
the piece of string calmly replies
no
