  • The ego centricism/paranoia does tail off as you get off the ketamine – have seen it happen in several people :group_hug

    i see 🙂 cheers for explainin …

for me i feel so much better its untrue, my friends have noticed, my family … everybody.

my self esteem has never been great, quite young i was quite a big lad recieved stupid amounts of bullying (even from ‘mates’) and being in a house full of brothers bullying sometimes, although maybe joking, never stopped, ive lost 3 stonne (not through drug use but my own diet education etc) that has helped, quitting smoking dope and losing the k problem have IMMENSLY changed the way i feel about myself, when i was well hittin it all hard it was difficult to walk down the highstreet, hoody in hot weather aint cool! … now i can walk without my hood up or even with no hoddy at all! not with black circles around my eyes from no sleep … well … unless ive been up all night playing me mega drive 🙂 now when i talk to k users i always try and push my new found happiness onto them but it always seems to never reach the inner ear, problem is i can understand both sides of it.

now ive experienced a habit and suffered the mental to physical issues brought with it i truly want to start a petition to make ketamine a class A, some on here may disagree and they can say what they like but to be honest i think their true selves know it would be a good thing.

how is making it class a gonna help? make it all legal. each to there own like, but i assume you still take coke and pills..? personally i reckon weed can be just as damaging to certain people as k is to others, but everyones different. saying all that im gonna stop caining k soo much after this last weekend. the whole class system and prohabition thing is bollocks tho and does way more harm than good.

TBH it happens with all other drugs as well..

But K is definitely worse because you know everything you perceive is abnormal, and theres a vicious circle where it makes you way less inhibited and thus often more likely to behave in abnormal manners and make a complete twat of yourself/offend people, unless you can use paranoia to check yourself…

Although even with pills and amfet this still exists on the comedown and is in part a survival mechanism – comedowns can make others with you very impulsive and even aggressive so it “pays to be paranoid”

to be brutally honest I think the K culture and people bingeing on everything else including alcohol has set back the chances of decriminalisation / legalisation worldwide to the point it is unlikely before the very youngest on here are middle aged or elderly.. (and it is their burden to change peoples minds)

IMO the biggest backlash has come from not the Muslim or Asian countries with harsh laws, not even the USA but the more progressive nations such as the UK and other European countries especially those what have experimented with tolerance.

All of us in Europe have public free at source healthcare which people increasingly run to with their self-inflicted conditions, and believe you me frontline healthcare workers across many nations (although Britain is the worst) are getting wholly pissed off with picking up the pieces.

Especially with some idiots kicking off at Ambulance and other NHS workers a lot of NHS people are forming much closer working alliances (either formally or informally) with the Police, the Civil Service and the Courts. This is now increasingly help shape legislation and more importantly frontline enforcement.

As for making Ket class A it would be counterproductive as demand is so high, and unlike other substances it is legitimately used . It would also cause extra work to NHS and vets i.e people what have got stabbed/shot waiting on a trolley a few extra seconds/minutes whilst the legals are sorted, and people paying £50 for kitty or Fido’s visit rather than £35 due to extra admin costs.

bear in mind also at least 66% of this nation neither touches any illegal drugs, does alcohol in moderation and does not agrees with people using illegal drugs, and they would blame the ket users and by extension every other drug user for these extra costs/hassles.

yea i dont think making it class A will do anything tbh. it wouldnt put me n my m8s off the stuff anyways! no i think there just needs to be a hell of alot more information being giving out to people who might be intrested in it, i’m pretty sure that drugs education in schools would probably still not discuss ketamine, the damages ketamine CAN do if used TOO much need to be brought to peoples attention, this sites been great for me im glad in a way thers people out there going through the same shit as me.
i agree that making all drugs legal could be an intresting move, i mean theres been a war on drugs for a long time now and lets be honest were still winning:wink:

i can never make my mind up about legalising all drugs – can see the good and bad points of it.

i do, however, reckon, that K not being a class A drug whilst shrooms are just make an even bigger mockery of the whole system.

personally ive never taken k but ive seen friends on it, and heard peoples stories on here and it doesnt seem like a soft option!

ah but you see, they are having fun (most of the time i think)…its the poor sods around them who have to try and deal with them!

    Haven’t touched K in over 6 months! 😉

    Well done Cliffy raaa

its effects are very seductive for some people, the k hole is a very nice place to go, its like going to heaven and back or for some people its hell, as for the ravers who are doing it at parties etc i reckon there silly fucks, ketamin certainly aint no raving drug, its those people who are continuesly taking it at parties and making fools of themselves that gives k such a bad image.
    paysh

i believe that making it class A may discourage some people from selling it … from when i used to deal … class c i considered fine … jumping to selling class A i think may put some off. just my opinion.

something needs to be done, im sure of it.

the problem is we are viewed as Al-Quaeda or the IRA rather than the Résistance or Allied troops, as criminals, yobs and bullies rather than liberators of people minds and bodies.

Until that changes, victory is uncertain.

recreational drug users are merely a large and stubborn minority group, mostly younger people from richer Western countries, they are by no means the majority of the worlds population….
