Old bill! Anyone go to the party that got closed down by the old bill?
They were proper quick to react! Had a chopper down just atfer the line came out! Then a couple of hours later came running in and surrounded the decks and didn't really give the rig crew a choice! Glad there wasn't a riot or anything!
Does any one know if the rig got out ok or weather the party relocated?

OK its not earth shattering importance but I think it shows complete contempt for all the kids who rung in (posibbly on premium rate phone lines) and they will grow up having no faith whatsoever in Auntie (and possibly not being so willing to fork out money for license fee when they become old enough to pay for it)
Its a crap choice anyway, there's already a famous cat called Socks (former US president Bill Clinton's cat)

Back up your files! the power supply in my office PC blew up this morning and there might also be a motherboard short-circuit (definite smell of burning printed circuit boards) [1]
it contained a years worth of finance/accounts data and I'd literally just finished yesterday some work for the year end
thankfully yesterday I had decided to back up all the databases because of the shady electric power in this village, I had a nasty feeling something was gonna go pear-shaped - but I still had some more admin files on the hard drive that was very recent.. (i.e after the last backups)
Had a lucky escape as the hard drive was still intact, so I just transferred it to another PC and got the data off it, so its an annoyance more than a disaster but it was definitely not a pleasant moment this morning..
lots of stuff in my work is on paper anyway but for those of you who have loads of music/pics stored on your PCs (particularly things you created yourself) defo worth making sure its backed up in some form...
The good news is I got a new PC out of it though :)
[1] yes, it is on a surge protector but TBH I don't trust the power supplies on some of these PCs (emachines brand), thats the second one blown up in two years...

OTOH I never hear of Openreach (BT engineering) or any of the large IT companies in Britain having such an intake, especially not of what appears to be 16-18 year age group without degrees.

mercedes 308d oil pressure problem Hi all i was wondering if anyone can help! I have a 94 merc 308d 2300cc the 4 cyl model. My oil pressure light came on so i took it off the road gave it an oil and filter change and fitted a new pressure switch. The light still comes on, it flickers on idle but if you rev it it stays bright. so i'm thinking maybe the oil pump has worn out? can anyone tell me where its located, does it bolt onto the filter housing where the oil cooler pipes go or will i have to take the sump off? any advice greatly appreciated

Pot Brownies Okay so the other day I made my version of pot brownies. I just mix in the weed with the uncooked batter and baked the brownines with crushed up weed in them and they worked really good. But ppl keep telling me that I'm supposed to make some kind of butter using the my weed and use that butter in the brownies. I wasn't quite sure what they meant can anyone help me out and just tell me how they make there brownies.
