It is still produced and transmitted to this day!
What you do also get (like similar kids shows elsewhere TV) is the human presenters explaining complex scientific concepts and behaving silly; but what makes this especially funny is some of the presenters are the same ones from the 1970s; [rather than 20-30 year olds trying to be kids] so are now well into their middle age (but still dress similar to how they would have done in 1980s).
Even funnier was that one dude (Armin) looked just like some priests/bishops I had been watching on EWTN Germany; it turns out he is from the same area [Köln] as them and around the same age (75)
Also although they use some modern CGI techniques the production methods have not changed much since 1970s/1980s. Watching it is almost like going back in time.
f the copyright permits it you might be able to watch at the link below (apparently if not that means it is on the normal TV somewhere) - the whole lot is of course in German but its not too difficult for those who do not have German as a first language (Mrs Robinson and Illiese would be able to understand it) and the program is equally popular with adults as kids in DE (including Frau Merkel who apparently tunes in every week) :laugh_at:
PS: you will even see Shaun the Sheep (Shaun das Schaf) on there; turns out WDR has part funded this animation for some years..

Is this normal after smoking? I've smoked pot for years and this started right after I started smoking. When I smoke, my heart pounds. It beats really hard and fast. US : BBC report about rise in cycling in some US cities Not sure how accurate some of this is, referring to the "humble bicycle" then featuring what appears to be a fairly upmarket "hipster friendly" bike shop in LA - they do have some decent bikes there to be fair and not too expensive either; though for those wanting to actually use them for transport I would suggest the "city" models unless they are particularly fit or it never rains in LA (?) ( or wherever this place is).
Also some profs making a "self-riding e-bike" - although e-bikes (of the sort you would ride like a normal one) are good this is as daft as the self driving cars (I can envisage many ways that go wrong!)....
it glosses over the stuff in Oregon and other cities which I'm sure still must have way better proper bike shops just like we have here in Europe..

UK : Over 40s have more babies than younger women Although its no bad thing that women in their later youth who want babies can have them and to some extent represents a rise in womens rights and advances in healthcare, the report mentions the last time this happened in England was immediately after WW II - the NHS was only just being introduced, the country was in a state of severe austerity, remained on the verge of civil and global conflict and gender rôles remained traditional (any changes caused by the war took decades to filter through to normal society)
Even amongst the women of foreign origin (there are as expected a fair few where I work) they do not start their families until age 30 or above, usually when they have some stability in their relationships and income as its harder for them to keep or get work if they fall pregnant or are raising children.
I suspect the real reason is that all prospective parents currently in Britain realise how expensive babies are to raise and the shortcomings in public services for them so increasingly delay parenthood...

The data also shows that fertility rates have dropped in all age groups under 25 while increasing for all age groups 30 and over.
