Running it Back Reaching out to any of the old timers (illiese, trypt), or the mods (GL, Angel, Bunsen) or any new folks who've registered but aren't posting to try to get a little bit of organic activity on here. It seems like the forum is on a slow but sure death march.

Event poster design and publicity tips.. PSA: if you /must/ hijack traffic light poles by busy spiral roundabouts to put up posters for events; at least make sure the colour contrast and font size is selected so they are readable from inside a vehicle stopped at the stop line - otherwise its completely pointless doing this (you are just putting yourselves at potential danger and risking getting in trouble - doing this is in an ethical grey area as when a roundabout had been signalled its already over capacity and classed as a collision risk)
So far I've noticed two flyers where by the time I've been able to read all of them the event has already happened - and this is in spite of having to use that roundabout almost every day driving to work or to the radio station at Felixstowe I volunteer at (and I did have my eyesight officially checked to get my driving licence in the first place!)
This is a shame, as I would have posted the event details up on here and told people at the radio stations..
if you are worried the flyer will be too big and thus get taken down by Highways England or the Council, then perhaps find a better place to put them! (tip: there are plenty of spare walls on abandoned areas of retail parks/industrial estates..)
