naltrexone flushes your opiate receptors and blocks them all at once so if your on any opiate in your system it sends you into major withdrawrals and even if you stuck a gram of gear up your arm it would do nothing.

I was using around a 16th of smack iv a day i cut down then stoped ended up using about a ten bag .2 of a gram every three days so i didnt realy notice any withdrawrals when i stoped. took the odd df118 (dihydrocodine) tablet n that was that.

Id avoid methadone at all costs if I were you, took me over a year to get off it, reducing at like 1ml a week, painfujl and slow.

Stick to the subs, stabilise and reduce and stop as quickly as possible before you get too dependant on them… It worked for me anyway, I found them much easier than methadone to get off.

Mind you I was on meth for about 7 years in total

Well its up to you, im not telling you what to do. I was just assuming that you wanted to get clean….

To me, being clean meant being off all opiates-heroin,methadone,subutex etc…

If your happy and stable on them then theres no reason why you cant stay on them I guess….

They’re still a strong opiate though, and although you don’t feel stoned or anything, when you come off them you should notice feeling a lot more alert and emotional for a while at least.

I came down from 60nls of methadone to 10 then swapped to 8mg of subutex, stabilised for a few days and started reducing, I was only on them for a month i think in total.

Theyre really not that hard to come off, nothing like metahdone, just get your dose as low as possible before you stop. I hardly felt it. I jumped at something like .2mg I think

Day 8 (4mg to 6mg)

Day 10 (2mg to 4mg)
Day 11 (2mg to 4mg)
Day 12 (2mg to 3mg)
Day 13 (1mg to 2mg) (at around this point you may start to feel the reductions)
Day 14 (1mg to 2mg)
Day 15 (1mg to 2mg)
Day 16 (.5mg to 1mg) (you can stop at this point if you are ready)
Day 17 (.5mg to 1mg)
Day 18 (.5mg to 1mg)
Days 19 to 21- (.25mg to .5mg) if you can break/cut the pills this small, this low amount will make the wds as mild as possible. A long drawn out taper is not really needed if you are not yet physically addicted to the sub, so feel free to make up your own plan, just try to jump at around the 1mg mark for the easiest overall time. (Short term sub detoxes only)
