TH : Expats nicked, cops find fake documents, drugs, dismembered body in freezer! A man in possession of a British passport has been charged after a dismembered body was discovered in a freezer in Bangkok.
Three people were arrested at a building in the Phra Khanong district on Friday where firearms and ammunition were also found, Thai police said.
Two men aged 33 and 66 were in possession of US passports, while the third man, whose age was not given, had both British and US identification.
One of the men grabbed a gun and opened fire during the police raid, injuring an officer who was taken to hospital, police said.
Colonel Kissana Phathanacharoe, of the Thai police, said: “We managed to find a big freezer. We opened it and found a dead body inside it. The body was chopped into different parts. It was concealed in many rubbish bags and put in the freezer.”

UK : The filthiest takeaways of Britain.. That one was clearly so fucking gross even the pests don't want to eat there :laugh_at:
Rob Llewellyn, the principal environmental health officer at Stockton council, who has worked as an inspector for 23 years, said: “It’s one of those where you walk in and it’s in an exceptionally poor condition. It was filthy and not in good repair.
“From a hygiene perspective, it was among the worst I’ve ever seen.”
He cited multiple offences at the restaurant, including lack of hand-washing facilities, food kept at room temperature and a serious accumulation of dirt, grease and food debris. Most alarming was the cross-contamination caused from filthy cleaning cloths being left on benches where food was prepared and on top of food. Llewellyn said the absence of pests at the restaurant was a miracle given the conditions.

Only a few weeks ago I was just discussing stuff about fountain pens (which he collects) and European culture with him and some other pinoys and pinays on their forum.
A young woman (his wifes nephews girlfriend) who comes from a good middle class background and has nothing to do with drugs was randomly shot dead whilst travelling to work.

UK : English and Scots blow raspberries at each other & Tesco over fruit flags.. Doesn't surprise me this is happening nowadays though it wasn't that long ago folk would simply have been thankful the weather has been decent enough anywhere in the UK to grow these at all (I'm old enough to remember strawberries and raspberries being a treat in summer as it wasn't that easy to get them out of season from foreign countries; although British scientists have also devised more weather-resistant varieties to extend the season!)

Hi! Just wanted to introduce myself (well mostly because i can't view any thread on this forum)
Anyways, amphetamine brought me here. I was doing some research and this seems like an interesting forum, so we'll see :)
200 pics with geotags left in found on darknet drugs markets Link to long but interesting article about this research. Doesn't say much for the opsec of some using darknet markets and/or the dealers tech/social awareness - its easy enough to shut off geotagging on all phones and there are also still many standalone cameras very few of which contain GPS receivers.
Had a look at the maps showing where tagged pictures were found out of curiosity. The researchers have removed a number of decimal places from the GPS data to protect privacy; but for UK and NL there appears to be enough left to show which districts the dealers were from.
I noticed they were mostly all urban/inner city areas where there is likely to be an existing high prevalence of "street level" dealing and where dealers might think they are "untouchable" and take more risks - plus the profs only introduced about 1,5km position error into the co-ordinates which although it might mask the individual to some extent still feeds the local intelligence systems of cops and health authorities with usable location data..
