Belushi’s
Hello everyone,
Thanks to all of you who made it down to Belushi's on Saturdy night. A great
time was had by all, despite the problems with the sound system. A big thank
you goes out to Luis Paris and Steve Hitch, who struggled through said
problems like true pro's. Hat's off to the pair of them...~s~
Now the good news...
We are giving you all an early Christmas present this week. A free party at
Belushi's. Yes, that's right, absolutely free. Gratis. Buck shee. Nil dosh.
Abso-bloody-lutely no cash involved. Zilchmans. Bugger all!
Joining me will be Matt Beresford, and Ben Gidman. The party starts at ten
and goes through to four, and the door price is nothing. Oh, had I already
mentioned that? Sorry.
We will also be giving away two free tickets for our New Years Eve party, to
be held at the same venue, worth a total of £50. So some lucky so-and-so is
gonna have it right off! For those who are not lucky enough to win tickets,
bring your pocket money with you as tickets will be on sale, priced £25
each.

“substance abuse policy”
the factory i work at has brought in a "substance abuse policy" they
want everyone to sign this form so they can random test people. myself
and a lot of other people have refused to sign this form,i have heard
the "office staff" will not be tested and fell this is not fair.in a
factory with over 500 staff,this is a lot of "office staff".We feel we
are being victimized,my question is "what is the law on this" can they
make us sign this form,what about invasion of our privacy,the human
rights law ,etc etc. what are my rights. if you can't answer this, can
you direct me to any sites were i might find this infomation. thank in
advance.

Our next party…
Firstly we would like to thank everyone who made it down to the SPIRIT
launch night a couple of weeks back. Those who were there know what a
blinding night it was, and those who don't will have to take our word for
it. It was a corker!
But please do not despair if you did miss it, as you will have another
opportunity to sample the delight which is SPIRIT on Saturday 4th November,
at Belushi's, 161 Borough High Street, London Bridge. The night starts at
10pm but the bar is open before that if you are gagging for a sweet sherry.
The nearest tube is either Borough or London Bridge itself.
It will only cost you a fiver to get in, and we throw in a free membership.
And if that's not enough, you get Rob Parish, The Preacher and Emile,
playing the very best in uplifting banging house music. The event is being
filmed for the forthcoming blockbuster "SPIRIT: The Movie", which should be
available by December. Just the thing to pop into your Christmas stockings.
Forget scooters and Thunderbirds. This years big pressie will be this video!

How to get into the scene?
ok i'm 17 i have been to a few parties with my mate in london and was blown away. However i live near leicester in the most rural and boaring part of the world (Rutland)and have no idea about how to get in to the scene and find parties near by, even from Nottingham as a base. I know they have to be hard to find and to an extent exclusive but i'm a slacker and havent had any luck- any one want to give me a break? or know if there are any parties in the Nottingham area this month

SPIRIT launch party
Greetings you wonderful people...
Appologies if you have already received this, but we are having a few
problems with mail outs.
It's been a long time coming, but we have great pleasure in announcing our
new night. Called SPIRIT, it is a night of uplifting banging house and
trance.
The launch night is on Saturday 7th October at Belushi's, Borough High
Street, between London Bridge and Borough stations. It runs from 10-4 and
costs only £5 to get in, a bargain in anyone's Euros! The venue is really
tidy, and the bar prices are relatively cheap. The bar upstairs is open all
day, so if you want to get there earlier than 10pm for a sherry of two then
you can. Arrange to meet friends, or find new ones...what ever!
DJ's on the launch night include myself, Raymondo and Tim King. Annette and
I look forward to seeing you all down there.

Exodus
Exodus festival was well cool!
Got stuck both nights at Ground zero who were playing some kicking Psy Trance on the other side of the underpass. Shame they had to close down early on the Friday, but the Saturday made up for it. Also managed to catch Headfuk on the Saturday. As good as ever! Just a shame I found out about Citizen Fish and Pain a little too late... Always next time I guess.
One of these days, I'll get around to sorting out a few more party photos too on my site too... One of these days anyway!
